Crossroads Children's Ministry!
Sunday School in the North Wing @ 9:45 a.m.

PowerXpress!
Our exciting program for 1st - 6th Grade

Using United Methodist's PowerXpress elementary children learn Bible stories and
much more from a team of artists, cooks, musicians, technicians and other fun-loving
servant leaders! Each Sunday children visit a new learning station along with their adult
"shepherds" who journey with them as they build relationships, enhance Bible study skills,
and practice Christian living in order to serve others throughout the week to come.
Each unit results in a church-wide mission or service project in response to what is learned.

Kindergarten and 6th Grade Promote in September!

Kindergarten Classes will promote from Little People Ministry to Crossroads in September and our Sixth Graders move
into their own focused study of Christian growth and church membership in the South Wing. Kindergarteners will meet
every week in Barn Chapel to Live BIG! with United Methodist's exciting new video series created just for them and Sixth
Graders will meet in their own unique setting in the South Wing for Sunday morning and Sunday evening classes. Unlike
in Rotation Sunday School, their teachers remain consistent throughout the year as these two groups make important
transitions in faith development.

Little People's Ministry is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and loving environment for all children from birth
to pre-kindergarten age. Along with the involvement of the parents, our clergy, church staff and all of the members of
Trinity United Methodist Church, we will help build a foundation of faith while teaching our children about the Bible and God.

Sunday Mornings in the South Wing
Childcare provided during all three services

Sunday School ~ 9:45 a.m.
for ages 2 by September 1st Through Pre-Kindergarten

All classes focus on teaching basic Bible knowledge, Biblical truths, prayer,
and how children can use that knowledge in their daily lives. The classes are
taught by volunteers that have completed the Safe Sanctuaries process.

Child Care
Nursery care is provided during all of our Sunday worship services. Childcare is also available for most church worship services,
meetings and events. Our competent, trained, Safe Sanctuaries approved, professional staff is assisted by our dedicated
volunteers. You may contact the church office, visit the church calendar on the website or inquire through the Entos for
available childcare (indicated in print publications by a smiley face)
. Please contact the church office at least 3 days prior
to the event if reservations are required.

Planning an Event that Needs Childcare
An event form found in the church office needs to be completed by the leader for all events needing childcare.
The LPM Director needs to be contacted in advance as well.

Little People's Council
The LPC supports the Director and staff. This group is made up of moms, dads, grandparents
and anyone that loves children. They meet once a month at the church on Thursday evenings.
For more information please contact Amy Wallace: 817.929.1692 or wallace24@sbcglobal.net.

New Baby Ministry
Trinity values our new babies and families and wants to help with the transition to parenthood. Our
newest members of the Trinity family are welcomed into the world with a gift and a visit from a Trinity
member or staff designed to help facilitate the transition into the nursery ministry of the church.
Please contact the church office at 817-274-1345 when your bundle of joy arrives.

2010 Summer Fun Days

have fun with friends away from home. Each day will consist of special events, scripture, Bible lessons, movement,
music and free play. The program is available for children age 2 – 5 (not currently in kindergarten).

July 27 & 29
August 3 & 5
