Chamber Singers

Wednesday, 8:45-9:15 P.M., Sanctuary
Dub Shepherd, Director; John Wolf, Accompanist

This ensemble is a sub-group of the Chancel Choir, which performs anthems of various musical genres,
often more demanding and with limited preparation/rehearsal time. This ensemble sings in
various worship services, usually at least once a month.

Sacred Pops
Sunday, 4:00-5:00 P.M., Choir Room
Dub Shepherd, Director; Phyllis Wolf, Accompanist

Originally organized to sing primarily secular music for
events other than worship services, this group has come to
sing more sacred repertoire, but still in a more upbeat,
"Pop" style. This group is available, on occasion, to sing
for various groups and gatherings, both within the
congregational life and beyond. This ensemble sings in
morning worship at least once a month. Membership is
open to Chancel Choir members, as well as others who
cannot make a commitment to singing in morning worship
on a weekly basis.

Praise Singers
Wednesday, 7:00-8:00 P.M., Sanctuary
Mary Sorensen, Director

Members of this ensemble provide vocal music leadership
in our Praise & Worship services, accompanied by the
Praise Band. The Praise Singers rotate the leadership
responsibilities, with 3-4 singing in each service.
On occasion, this ensemble will combine with
S.U.P. (Youth Choir) and/or Sacred Pops.
Women's Ensemble
Monday, 10:30-11:30 A.M., Choir Room
Dub Shepherd, Director; Phyllis Wolf, Accompanist

Membership in this ensemble is not restricted to Chancel
Choir members, though commitment to the weekly Monday
morning rehearsals is essential. The group sings in Sunday
morning worship at least once a month, as well as for
special seasonal presentations.
Men's Ensemble
Sunday, 5:00-6:00 P.M., Choir Room
Joyce Olson, Director; John Wolf, Accompanist
This ensemble sings a variety of repertoire arranged for
men's voices. This group, and Sacred Pops (whose
rehearsal follows it), are good opportunities for male
singers whose business travel prohibits them from
participating in the Chancel Choir's mid-week rehearsal.

Bells of Celebration (adults and older students)
Wednesday, 6:00-7:00 P.M., Handbell Room
Kathleen Wolfram, Director

This Handbell Choir for adult and older student ringers with
previous Handbell experience and/or music-reading skills
performs on the church's 4-octave set of Schulmerich
Handbells. Requiring from 10-13 ringers, this choir performs
regularly in Sunday morning worship services as well as
participating in seasonal performances and area Handbell
festivals. Substitutes and short-term commitments are
welcomed from time to time.

Chancel Bells (adults )
Sunday, 9:30-10:30 am, Handbell Room
Cindy Anderson, director

This handbell choir, now in its second season, rehearses
during the Sunday School hour and provides an alternative
for those who can not rehearse on Wednesday night.
